1 lb. cucumbers
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/3 teaspoon gourmet powder

1) Wash cucumbers and leave them soaked for 5 minutes in a 5%o solution of bleaching powder. Then wash them again in cold drinking water to remove the odor of the powder.
2) Clean kitchen knife and working board with boiling water.
Cut sterilized cucumbers into sections of 2.1/2 inches long. Then quarter them by cutting lengthwise through the middle. Scoop off the seedy pulp in the middle. Let them be salted for 40 minutes. Drain the saline. Mix with gourmet powder and sesame oil.
Note:
Any of several greens may be prepared in this way, such as asparagus lettuce, radish, etc.
